Bryan Bilinski has spent his entire career immersed in all things outdoors: wingshooting, fine shotguns, Labrador retrievers, upland bird hunting, waterfowling, sporting clays, field trials, gun fittings, shooting instructions, classic sporting books, wildlife art, and fly fishing.

While employed by the Orvis Company in Houston, Texas, circa 1980, Bryan is credited with designing the Orvis Pin Oak Acres Shooting Grounds as an instructional facility as well as the first sporting clays course in America. He also hosted the first National Sporting Clays Championship at the Orvis shooting grounds which helped launch the game of sporting clays nationwide.

He co-founded Countrysport Press in 1986 in Traverse City, Michigan, a publishing house of fine sporting books and art. It represented many renowned authors, including Michael McIntosh and Gene Hill, as well as wildlife artists Herb Booth and Bruce Langton.

Bryan ultimately founded his own company, FIELDSPORT LTD, "Purveyor to the Wingshooter," in 1994 with his angel partner Al Serra.
